Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing remote team, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and compliance posture while building the SRE function from the ground up to enhance product team efficiency and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime for production workloads
• Implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda, ensuring production gates are based on integration test passage

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructure and deep expertise in Terraform
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch
• CI/CD pipeline ownership in previous roles
• Experience with multi-site companies utilizing PaaS or microservices
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
