Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing digital media company, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve cloud infrastructure, build the SRE function from scratch, and manage CI/CD platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
• Deliver SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package and implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership and SRE tooling in a production environment
• Familiarity with multi-site operations requiring PaaS or microservices
• Experience with PagerDuty and managing on-call rotations
