Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing cloud infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps/SRE Engineer will own and evolve the CI/CD platform and compliance posture while building the SRE function from scratch in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime for production workloads
• Deliver a SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package by implementing technical controls end-to-end

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch with complete ownership
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership in previous roles
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Experience in a multi-site company where PaaS or microservices are utilized
