Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platform, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will build the SRE function from the ground up while ensuring reliability, security, and cost control in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the SRE practice, including on-call rotations, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the migration of production workloads to an isolated AWS account with zero unplanned downtime
• Implement automated deployment rollback processes and stand up monthly cost reporting for leadership

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience with AWS infrastructure and deep expertise in Terraform
• Hands-on experience in building SRE functions from scratch
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership and multi-site company environments
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Proven ability to implement technical controls for SOC 2 Type I audit readiness
