Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the cloud infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will build the SRE function from scratch, manage CI/CD platforms, and ensure compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotations, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
• Deliver a SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package and implement automated deployment rollback

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch
• Experience with multi-site companies requiring PaaS or microservices
• CI/CD pipeline ownership in previous roles
• Familiarity with PagerDuty and managing on-call rotations
