Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving cloud infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps/SRE Engineer will build the SRE function from scratch, manage CI/CD platforms, and ensure compliance in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
• Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime for production workloads
• Implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda, ensuring integration test passage before production deployment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
• Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch with complete ownership
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership in previous roles
• Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
• Experience in a multi-site company utilizing PaaS or microservices
