Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will own and evolve the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD platform, and compliance posture while building the SRE function from scratch in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish the SRE practice, including on-call rotation, SLA/SLO definitions, and observability dashboards
- Complete the AWS multi-account migration with zero unplanned downtime
- Deliver audit-ready infrastructure evidence for SOC 2 Type I compliance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience with deep Terraform expertise
- Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline ownership in previous roles
- Familiarity with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and PagerDuty
- Experience in a multi-site company utilizing PaaS or microservices
