Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the standardization of application deployments, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will design and implement consistent deployment pipelines, containerize applications using Docker and orchestration platforms, and establish shared CI/CD frameworks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of standardized application deployment processes across the organization
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and platform teams to define best practices and create documentation for deployment processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability engineering required
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Helm
• Certification in cloud platform engineering or site reliability engineering preferred
