Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will architect, implement, and maintain a secure DevSecOps platform for critical Command and Control simulation and training, focusing on cloud and on-premises environments.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and maintain a secure DevSecOps M&S platform for simulation and training
- Configure and support CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration for M&S software components
- Integrate security, test automation, and monitoring into the software lifecycle for high reliability
Required qualifications
- Minimum 7 years' experience in development and sustainment of systems such as C++, Python, and web applications
- Deep proficiency with DevSecOps tools like GitLab and SonarQube
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proven track record in designing fault-tolerant and secure enterprise systems
- Experience delivering solutions to DoD or critical infrastructure environments preferred
