Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the DevOps strategy and overseeing the design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure, the full-time Lead DevOps Engineer will work remotely to ensure high-quality project delivery while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the DevOps technical roadmap, aligning it with business goals and ensuring platform reliability and security
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure across major providers using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Drive CI/CD strategy and automation initiatives to enhance deployment processes and eliminate manual tasks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Extensive hands-on experience with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep expertise in infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring engineering teams
