Lead DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and governance of enterprise cloud architecture, the full-time remote Lead DevOps Engineer will focus on architectural leadership, strategic planning, and technical oversight to ensure Azure environments are scalable, secure, and compliant within a federal context.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee secure and scalable Azure architectures while defining enterprise reference architectures and best practices
- Guide DevOps teams in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools
- Lead architecture planning for cloud migration and modernization, ensuring alignment with federal security and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Current or previous Public Trust designation
- Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
