Lead Domain Architect
Job Summary
Guided by BCBSLA's Reference Architecture and corporate strategy, the full-time Lead Domain Architect will manage a domain's technical roadmap, ensuring sustainable design and alignment with business and IT projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiple domain roadmaps in collaboration with solution architects and business owners
- Facilitate technical discussions and provide architectural leadership for development efforts, integrating various technologies
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend updates to technology standards, practices, and methodologies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Seven years of technical leadership experience, including four years in software development or systems administration
- Expertise in at least three domains such as Data Architecture, Cloud Computing Architecture, or Integration Architecture
- Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices and software development best practices
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF or ITIL
