Lead Domain Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

Collaborating with Customer Success Engineers and Account Executives, the full-time remote Lead Domain Engineering Specialist will engage with customers on security-related products and architectures, lead readiness checks and data modeling, and monitor telemetry to optimize security posture and identify expansion opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on security-related products and risk topics across the Veeam Data Platform
• Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design
• Monitor attack surfaces and vulnerabilities, reporting trends and capturing health checks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or architecting cybersecurity, data security, or AI/ML-driven platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent; AI security or governance-related certifications preferred
• Deep expertise in data security and governance across cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments
• Hands-on experience with AI security and governance, including familiarity with AI governance frameworks
