Job Summary

Leading a team of engineers, the full-time salaried Lead Electrical Engineer - Nuclear will manage complex electrical engineering projects for nuclear power plants, focusing on design, troubleshooting, and multi-discipline coordination while ensuring technical and financial deliverables are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to ensure successful completion of electrical engineering deliverables, including defining scope and tracking progress
• Develop project scope, cost estimates, and schedules for electrical modifications, and provide technical oversight for engineering activities
• Interface with clients to validate project scope, mentor team members, and identify strategic opportunities for follow-on work

Required qualifications

• BSEE degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for nuclear power plants
• 3+ years of experience leading an engineering design group through all project phases
• Experience in developing engineering design change packages and conducting electrical system design
• PE Licensure is preferred
