Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

As a contracted Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer, the candidate will collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Product Design teams to deliver end-to-end hardware and software solutions, focusing on embedded electronics and PCB development for connected devices in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Designing custom PCBAs from concept through production and ensuring designs are production-ready
• Debugging and validating hardware prototypes using diagnostic tools
• Architecting electrical subsystems for new IoT products and interacting with contract manufacturers for mass production

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and electrical engineering
• Expert-level proficiency in electrical schematic capture, preferably with Altium
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using standard lab equipment
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles
• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
