Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

To deliver full-service solutions for clients, the contracted Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer will collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Product Design teams, focusing on embedded electronics and PCB development for connected devices in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Designing custom PCBAs from concept through production and ensuring designs are production-ready
• Debugging and validating hardware prototypes using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Architecting electrical sub-systems for new IoT products and managing hardware designs end-to-end

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field
• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
• Expert-level proficiency in electrical schematic capture, preferably using Altium
• Deep experience with embedded systems design, including microcontroller selection and peripheral integration
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using standard lab equipment
