Lead Encryption Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Encryption/PKI Engineer to advance their data protection strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize enterprise encryption and key management platforms, focusing on Fortanix DSM
• Design and implement scalable encryption solutions for applications, databases, and storage
• Lead integration efforts across application and DevOps teams and provide mentorship and training resources

Required Qualifications

• Proven expertise in enterprise encryption platforms, preferably Fortanix DSM, AWS KMS, HashiCorp Vault, or Thales
• Strong understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography and common algorithms like AES and RSA
• Experience with storage-level, file-level, and field-level encryption strategies
• Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams
• Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, NIST, and HIPAA
