Lead Energy Market Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Energy Market Analyst to support growth in North America by identifying customer use cases and providing thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customer use cases and shape go-to-market strategies
- Build and oversee production of energy market models using PLEXOS
- Act as a subject matter expert to propose solutions and develop products
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Energy Modeling and Power Market Analysis
- Four-year degree in Economics, Electric Engineering (Power Systems), or Mathematics; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
- Hands-on experience with nodal power flow modeling and energy market fundamentals
- Knowledge of energy economic modeling tools such as PLEXOS, Aurora, or similar
- Experience in creating and analyzing energy data sets for power models
