Lead Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and delivery of key initiatives within a remote application engineering team, the full-time salaried Lead Engineer will manage technical design, oversee the engineering work of assigned pods, and ensure high-quality code delivery while personally contributing to projects.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical design and delivery of assigned epics and initiatives from requirements through production
- Direct the day-to-day technical work of engineers in the initiative pod and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions while collaborating with product and business stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including leading significant features or initiatives
- Experience with cloud-native application development, preferably in Microsoft Azure
- Strong background in full-stack development, APIs, databases, and CI/CD practices
- Experience in a regulated or security-sensitive environment, preferably healthcare
