Lead Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Lead Engineer to design, develop, and optimize WMS Core technology solutions while collaborating cross-functionally, mentoring junior engineers, and enhancing system performance in a remote role.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the architecture and design direction for team services, ensuring alignment through comprehensive design documentation
- Review pull requests to elevate team standards and mentor engineers through design feedback and production investigations
- Lead production investigations, identify root causes, and implement fixes while maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience writing production software with recent hands-on coding
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience as a tech lead, staff engineer, or manager
- Deep production experience with C#, Python, Java, .NET Core, and microservice architectures
- Working knowledge of event streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with relational and document databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB
