Lead Engineer, Authentication Solutions

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of enterprise authentication platforms, the full-time remote Lead Engineer, Authentication Solutions will provide technical leadership, oversee multiple engineering teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance security and user experience across authentication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Authentication Lead Product Manager to create strategy, roadmaps, and implementation plans for authentication solutions
• Lead the architecture and engineering of enterprise authentication solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and security standards
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code practices while managing large-scale authentication migrations and technology transformations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or Engineering with a focus on authentication, identity, or security engineering
• 3+ years of management experience leading engineering teams
• Strong expertise in Active Directory and cloud authentication solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with multi-factor authentication solutions and PKI technologies
• Proficiency in automation tools and CI/CD pipeline technologies such as GitHub and Jenkins
