Lead Engineer (Azure Security)

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Lead Engineer (Azure Security) will act as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through complex security and compliance challenges while working remotely with a focus on Microsoft security tools and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Support client relationships from discovery through delivery, serving as the technical consultant
• Develop security strategies aligned with compliance frameworks like CMMC and NIST
• Architect and implement Zero Trust strategies and threat modeling frameworks for clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of consulting experience with tailored solutions for clients
• 3+ years of hands-on design and implementation of Microsoft Azure security tools
• Deep understanding of core cybersecurity principles, including zero trust and privileged access
• At least one active certification from a specified list, or to be obtained within 90 days of hire
