Lead Engineer for MV Components

Job Summary

As a full-time Lead Engineer for MV Components, the successful candidate will design, select, and integrate Medium Voltage components for global FACTS projects, ensuring compliance with international standards while providing technical leadership and managing engineering activities from tender to project delivery in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the design, specification, and evaluation of Medium Voltage components to meet project requirements
• Lead technical reviews of vendor documentation and act as a subject matter expert for MV electrical components
• Manage the integration of MV components into FACTS system designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Substantial experience in Electrical Component Engineering or Substation Equipment design for Medium or High Voltage applications
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Finnish is preferred
