Lead Engineer, Growth

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Engineer / Tech Lead for their Growth team, responsible for managing a small engineering team and optimizing the customer acquisition funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver protocol-level A/B experiments on signup flows, checkout, and product recommendations
• Ship full-stack features across the acquisition funnel using Rails and React
• Coach and develop the engineering team through regular 1:1s, pair programming, and code reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Experience leading a team of 4-8 engineers with a focus on growth experiments in a subscription product
• Proficient in writing production code in Ruby on Rails and React
• Ability to design experiments, select metrics, and explain trade-offs to product managers
• Familiarity with event-sourced systems or similar architectural patterns
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in development workflows
