Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Lead Engineer, Oracle Xstore, to work remotely and lead the design and modernization of the POS platform, focusing on version upgrades, configuration frameworks, and operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system resilience and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Xstore development, enhancements, and lifecycle management to ensure stability and scalability
• Implement country-specific compliance requirements and improve platform-level resiliency and recovery processes
• Enhance observability across the POS landscape, championing operational efficiency and leading incident response efforts

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering experience with a strong emphasis on Oracle Xstore, including customizations and environment management
• Proven experience with Xstore upgrades, patching, and architectural modernization
• Deep understanding of retail store POS operations and configuration frameworks
• Strong proficiency in Java, RESTful services, and large-scale distributed retail systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead large technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders
