Lead Engineer Scrum Master

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Engineer/Scrum Master to support System Integration and Cloud Management of the NOAA Traffic Coordination System for Space.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Lead Engineer/Scrum Master for the TraCSS System Integration and Cloud Management team
• Provide expert knowledge of and experience with Agile development scrum methodology
• Collaborate with the product manager to determine goals and priorities for sprint planning, grooming, and product release
• Manage and motivate teams to achieve mature sprints with on-time delivery and appropriate documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with 12 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree can substitute for 2 years, and a PhD can substitute for another 2 years of experience
• Current knowledge of software tools and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively in high-availability, mission-critical environments
