Lead Engineer Software Development
Job Summary
Leading the design and development of advanced modeling and simulation capabilities, the full-time Lead Engineer, Software Development will work remotely to enhance C2SET systems using AFSIM, Python, and C++ while implementing cloud-based services and AI/ML-driven approaches.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of modernized C2SET modeling and simulation capabilities for operational training environments
- Architect the integration of new model behaviors and capabilities within M&S frameworks
- Implement cloud-based services and agile full-stack solutions to meet evolving mission needs
Required qualifications:
- At least 7 years of software development experience with C++, AFSIM, Python, or similar frameworks
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms, and RESTful architectures
- Minimum 2 years of military planning, operations, or wargaming experience
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing model behaviors in M&S environments
