Lead Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

To support a new greenfield mission with a large federal civilian agency, the full-time Lead Enterprise Architect will build the architectural runway, author governance frameworks, and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, working remotely with occasional onsite support in Washington, DC.

Key responsibilities

• Build the architectural runway for a greenfield federal program in a SAFe environment
• Author the baseline enterprise architecture, governance framework, and technical standards artifacts
• Review development team designs for architectural alignment and provide actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience
• Experience establishing enterprise architecture in a new or transforming organization
• Experience authoring governance frameworks and technical standards for development teams
• Experience working in a SAFe environment, including architectural runway planning
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
