Lead Estimator

Job Summary

Leading the development of strategic cost estimates for complex warehouse automation projects, the full-time Lead Estimator will collaborate with engineering and commercial teams, mentor junior estimators, and enhance estimating tools while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of capital budget and contract estimates for material handling and warehouse automation projects
• Analyze project scope and technical requirements to create accurate cost models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive estimates and recommend pricing strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of estimating experience in material handling, warehouse automation, or related fields
• Experience with complex integrated systems involving technologies such as conveyors and robotics
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams
