Job Summary
To support the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, the full-time Lead Fabric Pipeline & Semantic Engineer (PBI Admin) will design, develop, and administer enterprise data fabric and Power BI environments, integrating data sources and building automated pipelines in a hybrid work setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers within a Medallion Lakehouse architecture, integrating raw data sources with analytics architectures
- Build and orchestrate batch or streaming data pipelines using ETL software, implementing automated ingestion and transformation processes
- Administer the Power BI platform, including workspace creation, role-based access controls, and deployment pipelines for data assets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience with ETL software such as Azure Data Factory and building data pipelines within a medallion architecture
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing dimensional data models using T-SQL and DAX for Power BI
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing Power BI platform administration and capacity metrics
- Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship without the need for sponsorship
