Lead Facets System Engineer
Job Summary
Leading a team in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried Lead Facets System Engineer will define, design, and develop system requirements while overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems relevant to healthcare applications.
Key responsibilities
- Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and user account management
- Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, conduct root cause analysis, and recover services from incidents
- Evaluate new systems through in-depth testing and research, addressing systems integration issues and developing automation for business processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- 8 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications
- ITIL Foundations v3 certification preferred within 180 days of employment
- Experience supporting, administering, or engineering the Facets platform in a healthcare payer environment
- Proficiency in programming languages and web-based technologies
