Lead Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To scale the impact of the Forecasting and Financial Analytics team, the full-time Lead Financial Analyst will develop and enhance usage-based forecasting models, improve forecast accuracy, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize data systems and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance usage-based forecasting models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques
• Raise forecast accuracy and shorten the monthly refresh cycle through rigorous backtesting and experimentation
• Mentor junior team members and produce insights to help stakeholders understand forecast drivers and impacts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, forecasting, or financial planning & analysis
• Strong experience with SQL and transforming large datasets into reusable formats
• Proficiency in Python and/or R, particularly in time-series and machine learning forecasting methods
• Experience operationalizing models with backtesting and validation on platforms like Databricks
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
