Lead Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support the Moores Cancer Center's mission, the full-time Lead Financial Analyst will manage financial and operational systems, prepare budget projections, and provide guidance to a team of Financial Analysts in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor departmental financial and operational systems and resources related to research
• Prepare budget projections and cost analyses to assist leadership in long-range planning and decision-making
• Provide leadership and training to Financial Analysts while overseeing their work for quality outcomes

Required qualifications

• Nine years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus five years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and present complex financial data clearly
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and database software for financial analysis and reporting
• Advanced knowledge of internal control practices and their impact on resource management
