Lead Financial Analyst

Job Summary

To support strategic financial initiatives, the full-time Lead Strategic Financial Analyst will tackle complex business questions, build financial models, and improve forecasting while working remotely across Canada within EST/EDT hours.

Key responsibilities

• Take on complex, open-ended questions that span multiple parts of the business and bring structure to ambiguity
• Build financial models and analysis from the ground up to answer strategic questions and support business decisions
• Own the monthly and quarterly finance rhythm, partnering closely with business teams on reviews and reporting

Required qualifications

• Strong financial modelling skills, including building driver-based models and three-statement analysis
• Experience working with data directly, including SQL or an equivalent querying tool and a BI platform
• Strong business curiosity and the ability to understand key drivers of growth
• Experience working in a complex business with multiple revenue streams or business models
• Ability to challenge assumptions and build trusted relationships with business partners
