Job Summary
Leading a small engineering team, the full-time Lead FPGA Hardware Engineer will support the development of advanced instrumentation and control electronic systems, focusing on FPGA design, verification, and testing, with the option to work remotely and minimal travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support FPGA development, simulation, integration, and test activities for control electronic systems
- Provide technical leadership and coordination for a team of FPGA and hardware engineers
- Serve as a technical point of contact for program management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across development activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design, verification, and digital hardware development
- Minimum of 2+ years leading a technical team and managing project execution
- Hands-on experience with FPGA design and verification using VHDL, SystemVerilog, or UVM
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required
