Job Summary
To support the development of advanced instrumentation and control electronic systems for the nuclear power industry, the remote Lead FPGA Hardware Engineer will oversee FPGA design, verification, and testing activities while providing technical leadership to a small engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support FPGA development, simulation, integration, and testing for control electronic systems
- Provide technical leadership and coordination for a team of FPGA and hardware engineers
- Serve as the technical point of contact for program management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across development activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design, verification, or digital hardware development
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading a technical team and managing project priorities
- Hands-on experience with VHDL, SystemVerilog, UVM, or similar FPGA design methodologies
- U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required
