Job Summary
To build and lead the front end of a customer-facing healthcare application, the remote Lead Front End Engineer will design and iterate on software using TypeScript and React while serving as a technical anchor for the frontend team and driving a test-first methodology.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate on a high-impact healthcare application using TypeScript and React
- Guide architecture decisions, review PRs, and mentor engineers to ensure quality and reliability
- Integrate AI coding tools into the development workflow and collaborate with backend engineers on RESTful API integration
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with expertise in TypeScript and React
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience, including code reviews and mentoring
- Strong commitment to web accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508
- Experience with a test-first mindset and building reliable software
- Bachelor's degree required
