Lead Full-Stack Developer

Job Summary

Supporting a major federal modernization initiative, the remote contract Lead Full-Stack Developer will lead and mentor development teams while providing hands-on engineering for secure, scalable applications built on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor full-stack development teams in cloud modernization and solution architecture initiatives
• Design and implement frontend and backend services using technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Django, and AWS-native services
• Define application architecture standards and ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles and modern CI/CD practices

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant full-stack application development experience, including at least 4 years in technical leadership roles
• Bachelor's degree required, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript
• Experience with microservices architecture, REST API design, and cloud-native software products
