Lead Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer for mission-critical defense software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture for backend services and core infrastructure
• Build and scale RESTful APIs and integrate with DoD systems using secure data pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend tools to develop interactive tools and implement CI/CD pipelines for deployment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in backend or full stack development (Node.js, Python, Ruby or Go preferred)
• 5+ years in a leadership role, mentoring junior engineers
• Strong grasp of database architecture (PostgreSQL or similar) and design schemas
• Prior work with DoD systems or military logistics/training software
• Comfort working in fast-moving, early-stage environments
