Lead Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-impact federal-aligned platform engineering initiative, the contract-to-hire Lead Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with software development teams to enhance cloud platform adoption, improve engineering workflows, and facilitate application migration in a remote role preferred for candidates in the DMV/East Coast time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to assess application architectures and deployment workflows
• Design and implement onboarding and migration strategies for platform adoption
• Provide technical leadership in cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building full-stack applications
• Strong programming experience in TypeScript, Golang, and/or Python
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
• 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and software architecture patterns
