Lead Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a full stack team in a remote environment, the full-time Lead Full Stack Engineer will oversee the rebuild of a transportation management system using Python, FastAPI, and React, while also motivating the team and translating complex business requirements into actionable tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and guide the engineering team, performing code reviews and delegating responsibilities
• Translate complex business requirements into technical tasks for the team
• Identify and prioritize important problems to ensure the team is focused on impactful tasks

Required qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years of experience in building and shipping production software systems
• Proven technical leadership experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency with backend technologies such as Python/FastAPI, and frontend technologies like React.js
• Previous experience in the logistics industry and a genuine interest in the field
• Ability to create self-documenting, modular, and testable code
