Job Summary
Seeking a Lead Gameplay Systems Engineer to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity, who will develop and maintain gameplay features and systems focused on player experience, character progression, and creator workflows while mentoring team members.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate backend services with the game client using C++
- Develop features for games utilizing Unreal Engine
- Collaborate with designers to optimize features for a smoother player experience
Required qualifications
- Six years of professional experience working on multiplayer games in C++, including recent experience with Unreal Engine
- Professional experience leading a team or mentoring less-experienced team members
- Background designing gameplay systems for live-service games
- Familiarity with various Unreal Engine technologies, such as the Gameplay Ability System and rendering features
- Proactive approach to communication and teamwork
