Lead Gas Trader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Gas Trader.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the gas trading, scheduling, and balancing team
• Manage daily and intraday gas scheduling, optimizing transport and storage
• Design and implement a comprehensive gas hedging program and coordinate with risk management

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of natural gas trading and scheduling experience
• Education in mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or business is preferred
• Extensive experience in volatile gas markets and proven expertise in NYMEX futures and options
• Strong understanding of pipeline constraints and operational risk management
• Experience in building new trading desks or platforms and managing teams
