Lead GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead GIS Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data gathering, editing, conversion, and analysis of GIS data to support environmental projects
• Prepare maps and exhibits using GIS data sets while ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced GIS team members and collaborate with various technical staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using GIS
• Proficient knowledge of GIS technology and software applications, especially Esri products like ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Experience with geodatabases, editing, and cartography principles
• Knowledge of Python or arcade scripting is preferred
