Lead GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead GIS Analyst- Environmental.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data gathering, editing, conversion, and analysis of GIS data
• Apply cartographic principles to prepare maps and exhibits using GIS data sets
• Coordinate technical and administrative GIS activities and provide GIS analysis and decision support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using GIS
• Proficient knowledge of current GIS technology and software applications, especially the Esri suite of products
• Knowledge of geodatabases, editing, geoprocessing tools, and cartography principles
• Effective leadership and mentoring skills
