Lead Health Information Management

Job Summary

To support the Health Information Management department, the full-time Lead Health Information Management will organize and prioritize workflow, ensure quality record processing, and provide training and support to staff while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure patient confidentiality and excellent customer service standards are met
• Maintain accurate and timely record processing and monitor productivity and quality of work
• Train and orient new staff while communicating organizational information to align with departmental goals

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate's degree or 2-3 years post-secondary education preferred
• Two to four years of relevant experience, including at least two years in Health Information Management within an acute care hospital environment
• Proficiency in all areas of the Health Information Department
