Lead Healthcare Paralegal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Paralegal, Healthcare Transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, primarily focusing on research collaboration and clinical study agreements
• Perform legal review and approval of clinical study documents and manage a heavy workflow with internal clients
• Collaborate with attorneys to streamline contracting workflows and contribute to the development of the Legal Department playbook

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal in commercial research contracts and general corporate practice
• 3+ years of experience in a major law firm; in-house experience is a plus
• Experience advising clients in the biotech, life science, and/or healthcare industries
• Proven ability to review, draft, negotiate, and finalize complex commercial contracts independently
• Completion of training related to HIPAA/PHI privacy and compliance within the first 30 days of hire
