Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Lead HVAC Estimator, this remote position requires an experienced HVAC professional to manage commercial HVAC estimates from initial plan review through final proposal and project handoff, collaborating closely with field and operations leadership to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Key responsibilities:
- Own commercial HVAC estimates from bid opportunity through project handoff
- Review mechanical plans and specifications to develop complete project estimates
- Manage an organized pipeline of active bids and ensure accurate project handoffs to operations
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC industry experience
- 3+ years of direct HVAC estimating experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and installation practices
- Ability to independently read and interpret mechanical plans and construction documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating technology
