Lead I&C Designer

Job Summary

Serving as the technical point of contact for project I&C design activities, the full-time remote Lead I&C Designer will manage InTools SmartPlant (SPI) database configurations, perform complex design assignments, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality design deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SPI database setup and configuration for ongoing and future projects
• Complete I&C design activities for systems and components, anticipating potential design challenges
• Collaborate with engineers and conduct interdisciplinary reviews to ensure design compatibility

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree with 15+ years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree with 13+ years of related experience, or 17+ years of related experience with a GED/high school diploma
• Demonstrated experience in a Lead I&C Designer role
• InTools SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) experience as an Administrator
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling and drawing tools
• Advanced knowledge and experience in instrumentation and controls
