Lead Identity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Identity Engineer to architect API security and authorization platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and governance of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) Gateway
• Implement Fine-Grained Authorization (FGA) and context-aware policies for secure AI access
• Extend API security controls to the emerging AI ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in API Security, IAM, or Gateway implementations
• Deep experience with enterprise API Gateway technologies
• Expert-level knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• Strong backend coding proficiency in Java or Python
• Solid experience with enterprise Identity Providers like Okta or Microsoft Entra ID
